The Milelja Guesthouse is designed for various kinds of workshops. Teachers from many countries bring students to practice different styles of regeneration and expression.
We are located on the Greek isle of Lesvos in the eastern Aegean, seven miles off the Turkish mainland. Lesvos is the third largest, and one of the ‘green’ islands of Greece. Covered in olive groves and vast pinewoods, legend says this is where music first came to man. Poetry, songs and dances still play an important role in Greek life today.
Milelja is just a 15minute walk from the sea and the village of Molyvos (Mithimna in the old Greek). The village is architecturally protected due to its historical importance as an ancient seaport dating from before the fall of Troy and the magnificent Venetian castle that sits above.
